Great restaurant with good food on the menu. Most of the menu looked quite appetizing. Prices are competitive for the food. Quality of the food and kitchen preparation seems great. Would happily eat here again.
I had a lovely time at dinner here! Was such a lovely atmosphere with a pianist and violinist playing. I’m Vegan but my partner isn’t so it’s sometimes hard to find somewhere we both can enjoy but the menu was great for both of us. We were served by Krisztian who was lovely and also gave us recommendations of what to eat. Would definitely recommend a visit
I go there for the excellent service and stay for the delicious food. Our waiter was just delightful. His English was impeccable. I also noticed that he was fluent in Italian, serving the table next to us. Our server had a wonderful sense of humor.We split the salad, which was probably large enough to split three ways as a starter salad. The restaurant timed the salad and entrée perfectly. I find it very annoying when I have been served a salad and then the entrée arrives while I’m still eating the salad.
When we bought the tickets to fly to Budapest, we were hoping to taste high quality goose meat… and Just by coincidence we found a great restaurant with great alternatives. We had; cold goose liver + home made goose breast pate + crispy goose leg and rose goose breast. Everything we tasted was super delicious 👍🏻 The closure with the Simaliba Mille Feuille was exceptional! The atmosphere was very relaxed and cosy… The service was great… Thank you, Attila. Very attentive service , Attila from the restaurant is very knowledgeable about the hungarian wines and local dishes , each of his recommendations was spot on to pair with the dishes he suggested. The Egri Bikaver ( bulls blood ) wine with the main course was spot on so was the tokaj dessert wine with dessert and as a digestif the local plum palinka was superb. It left a very warm feeling as it went down. Everything was fresh and locally sourced and the local hungarian smoked paprika seasoning for the starter was just perfect. Its not my first time in hungary, i keep trying different restaurants each time i come but this one i have bookmarked and planning to come again. The chef is fantastic
