Wonderful place, prices were not bad, serving sizes were ample! We ordered goulash soup, peasant bread and the beef stew with cottage cheese pasta ( my favorite meal of the whole trip) way to much to finish! Everything had great flavour, our server was very helpful in explaining the meals & ingredients too. Only complaint- bathrooms are hot and tiny, but it was also 30+ lol!
From beginning to end, our dining experience was outstanding. The food felt genuinely authentic, offering a wonderful taste of Hungarian cuisine, and the staff was both engaging and gracious. Thank you for such a delightful experience.
Great little restaurant, a hidden gem. The goulash was delicious, and the owner kindly offered us a pear schnapps which was lovely! He also gave us local recommendations of places to go and was super friendly. Overall the food was delicious, the service was exceptional and we would definitely go back! Had a really great experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were surprisingly generous — big enough that our table of five could comfortably share several dishes and try a bit of everything. It’s the kind of place where the plates keep arriving and you realize you probably ordered too much… but you’re happy about it. What made the visit even better was the service. Our waiter Christofer was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful when recommending dishes. He made us feel welcome without being overbearing, which always makes a big difference. Overall, a fantastic spot if you’re coming with friends or a group and want great food, big portions, and warm service. Would definitely come back.
