Great atmosphere. Waited a little bit so we could sit outside! We got the beef stew with cottage cheese and bacon pasta and the chicken schnitzel. Both were absolutely delicious. I had the raspberry lemonade; it was so good with real raspberries. My friend got the Soproni Cherry Beer; I don’t drink beer but it was sooo good. Our waiter Zoltan was attentive and gave great recommendations. Definitely recommend Hungarian Hell’svKutchen!
I had an amazing dining experience at Hell’s Kitchen! I tried the traditional Hungarian beef goulash soup, the beef stew with nokedli, the Somlói Galuska dessert, and a traditional Hungarian drink. Every single dish was delicious and full of authentic flavor. The soup, the main course, and the dessert were all absolutely fantastic. The traditional drink was a bit strong for my personal taste, but that’s only because I don’t usually drink alcohol. If you enjoy traditional spirits, you’ll probably love it. A special thank you to Tomàs, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the dishes, gave me great recommendations, and made me feel truly welcome throughout my visit. Excellent food, wonderful services, and a great atmosphere. Thank you for such a memorable experience—I would definitely come back next time! Narges🌺
I visited Hell’s Kitchen in Budapest and overall I had a very good experience. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and Viktor really made a difference with how attentive and friendly he was. The restaurant has a nice location with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere feels lively, especially when there is live music in the background. I would say it is a bit pricey, but the quality and service help justify it if you are looking for a nicer meal out. It is a good place to go when you want a relaxed but polished dinner, especially if you enjoy a place with some energy and a pleasant setting. If you are planning to go, I would recommend checking whether there is live music that night, since that can make the experience even better. One thing to keep in mind is that prices are on the higher side, so it may not be the best choice if you are looking for a budget-friendly meal to get a taste of Hungarian food. If you want the best experience, I would go a little earlier to enjoy the seating options and avoid any rush, especially if you prefer a quieter dinner. Overall, I would happily recommend it for good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere in Budapest.
Our server FANNI was wonderful. Super friendly, informative and efficient. Our dinner was delicious, and presented authentically. The live music was beautiful and I got serenaded at our table it was lovely. Perfect location, affordable meals and fantastic service…. Not to mention on the hottest day of the year during the European heatwave it was cool and comfortable inside. Definitely a 5 star experience.
We had a lovely experience at Hungarian Hell’s Kitchen. The atmosphere was calm and really enjoyable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind, which made us feel very welcome. The garlic soup served in bread was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of our meal. Our main dish was meat ،it was good, but nothing particularly special or exciting in terms of flavor. Overall, a nice place with great service and a relaxing vibe.
