We enjoyed a very nice evening at GastroCellar. We were welcomed with sparkling wine, then had typical Hungarian food: ragout soup, chicken paprikas and sponge cake. All yummy. The live music entertainment and dancers added greatly to the atmosphere. Service started a little slow, but attentive and friendly. All-in-all a lovely evening.

If you're buying the Hungarian tourist bundle for about $90 usd it's not quite worth it. They provide a dinner and show with the pass along with 4 other activities, we chose the baths, a river cruise on the Danube, a small bus tour, Budapest history museum and this was the dinner. Of all the activities, this was the biggest let down. Not worth it at all. Atmosphere was nice but the show is really a few Hungarian dances done by staff with live cello which is fine, but the service took forever to serve food and then after 2.5 hours, waiting for your meal, you find out it only included bread and a tiny bowl of goulash which is basically minestrone soup ( the size of a small cup.) Not any actual dinner. They give you the menu and it's deceiving because you aren't given any of that food other than the ghoulash. Very disappointing.

We loved the enthusiastic folk dancing and live music! We would have preferred a little more dancing and a little less music, but it was a very enjoyable evening nonetheless. The dancers are extremely talented and the costumes - especially the women’s- are colourful, fit perfectly, and the skirts spin so beautifully! We decided not to order the soup or meal. If you do as we did, you may want to have a snack before the evening begins.

Amazing experience!!!! I didn’t except this night will be SO GOOD! The food was delicious (we ordered red wine beef stew) and the show was espectacular. We bought the tickets that includes boat tour - so all-in-one experience. 100% recommended!

Went because it offered a free tasting with the Budapest card. Oh my God, it was so good. 3 large glasses of delicious wine (white, rosé and red), 2 very tasty cheeses and the best ever smoky salami. It was so good and so generous, we thought it would be a shame to leave having just had the freebies. We stayed for dinner. Probably the best food we had in Budapest (we only ate at Hungarian restaurants and they were all exceptional). It's in a beautiful setting in a celler, was once a museum so had lots of interesting 'exhibits' and lots of information on Hungarian food and traditions. Highly recommended 👌 and well worth a visit. I'd give 10 🌟 if I could.
