Krumplis Lángos
Budapest
Recensioner
Wanted to try Hungarian street food and decided on this. Both the service staff were friendly and accommodating. It using similar toppings as pizza but instead of baking (pizza), the dough is deep fried so it is oilier. Overall, you get a bang for your buck as they are generous with the ingredients, but taste wise, pizza still trumps this.
Everything was delicious! I rarely go back to the same place twice, but this Langos was so good that I came back for a second just to try the other flavors You should definitely try it. It’s close to the city center
It's a very nice, casual place. The staff are polite. The food is delicious. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The restrooms and the place itself are very clean. It's located on one of Budapest's liveliest and most beautiful streets. It's one of the first places you should visit if you want to eat langos.
We got the Hungarian Langos, topped with sour cream, cheese, Kolbász / sausage, and red onion. The dough was light and crispy, with slight chewiness. I love how crispy the dough is. Like pizza but crispy. Just nice.
Was recommended this place as part of a walking tour and looking at the crowd, had high expectations. We ordered and thankfully got a table, waited about 10 mins and got our langos freshly made. However it was oily and not crisp at all. The toppings were tasty though.
