IDA Bistro
Budapest
Recensioner
The place is charming and the Hungarian tasting menu is delicious! The restaurant is spacious and located close to landmarks.
IDA is the total experience. Wonderful food, amazing service, and a warm ambiance make this worth the ten minute walk across the Szechenyl Chain Bridge. Ask for Andrea, she delivers appropriate recommendations on food and drink pairings. We won’t hesitate returning to this wonderful experience on our next trip to Budapest.
Amazing place. Kitchen is delicious. I tried fous gras and buratta salad and i can tell the chef knows his best. Atmosphere is chilling, service is friendly and helpful, caring, view to Danube. Definitely recommend
I would call it a restaurant rather than a bistro, but it is a very nice place with nice service. We just wanted something small with coffee, but I ended up having soup too. Everything was delicious.
Among the Hungarian dishes I had repeatedly in Hungary, the goulash and Hungarian-style fish at this restaurant were the most refined. The atmosphere was wonderful—clean and elegant with a dark brown color scheme, high ceilings, and large mirrors that made the long space feel even more spacious. Although the tables weren’t very far apart, the layout still felt comfortable. The large windows overlooking the riverside, with sunlight streaming in, made the restaurant even more inviting and attractive. If I had more time, I would have loved to try an evening meal here with their delicate dishes paired with fine Hungarian wines.
