My mom and I had such a wonderful evening at Deryne for dinner! The ambience both inside and on the patio was beautiful. We had a great seat on the patio and were welcomed with free champagne. Our waitress Hanna was so nice and friendly, and was very thorough with explaining dishes and answering our questions. We really enjoyed talking with her and having her serve us for the night. We had the house spicy cocktail and pornstar martini which were great, the laffa house bread with goat yogurt dip, broccolini, duck quesadillas, and beef carpaccio. Every dish was delicious and so unique, all of the flavors were paired so well. We had a wonderful and special evening and would highly recommend. Thank you Hanna!
A great place with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful interior. It feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The restaurant follows a sharing plates concept, but the portions are surprisingly generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food justifies them. Everything we tried was delicious, and in our opinion, it’s absolutely worth it.
A fantastic and upmarket place for a special evening in Budapest. Elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and a great selection of wines and whiskies. A big bonus for families is that kids eat free, which is a lovely touch. The staff were super attentive , really engaged without being intrusive, making the whole experience memorable. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing experience here in Budapest! Hanna and Vanda are truly exceptional—so friendly, welcoming, and kind. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in and made the entire experience so special. The food was absolutely incredible—super fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. Honestly, this has been one of the most delicious restaurants I’ve tried in Budapest. I highly recommend this place 100%! If you’re visiting Budapest, don’t miss it—you will absolutely love it!
Had breakfast at Déryné and tried the Cori dish — surprisingly delicious. The croissant, even with sauce, was still very soft and flaky. Paired with a coffee, it made for an excellent breakfast. The staff were also very polite and gave clear, detailed explanations. Definitely a meal worthy of a high rating.
