My friend and I came here multiple times during our stay in Budapest (not even guests of this hotel), but because the food and service was so good. Bella was amazing and offered a very friendly accommodating service, between adjustments to the food and helping us store our luggage safely while we waited to check-in to a nearby hotel, she went above and beyond. Gabor was also amazing. Really professional, and more than happy to give us recommendations around Budapest. Shoutout to a woman with red hair and great tattoos whose name we didn't get. Her service was great and very attentive! Both indoor and outdoor seating areas have a lot of charm. Great vegan options too!
Brody House Café, Bistro, Bar, Budapest: Boutique hotel Brody House is an artist lodge and hub. We filed past this enroute to Central Market and did a backtrack out of curiosity. And I am glad we did. Our socks were knocked off by the interior. Budapest is full of these old palaces, apartments with hidden twee courtyards. The building is so lovingly restored with a gorgeous staircase and daylight pouring through the stained-glass windows. Step into the café, bistro and bar and the artist vibes hit you. Every seat, every corner, every space is so beautiful and framed like a postcard waiting to be photographed. Walk into the courtyard for fresh air and sunlight. It’s so beautiful to nurse a coffee, drink or a beautifully formed croissant. #eatstylishtravelstylish
Really enjoyed the café. The setting is beautiful and the food was delicious. I can't praise the staff enough. They were super friendly and really helpful. We were there for breakfast. I had the Brody Royal and my colleagues had the English Breakfast. One commented that the English Breakfast is better than in England.
Great food and a nice atmosphere. I especially loved the cozy small garden and the DJ, which added a fun and relaxed vibe. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely bonus. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. We will come again soon!
On a friend’s recommendation we went for brunch around noon. The interior was super charming with a really nice vibe. Now to the important part: the food is incredible. The Croque Monsieur had perfectly crispy sourdough bread, a delicious herbed béchamel and a runny egg on top that brought everything together beautifully. The English breakfast was hearty with standout sausages and the Brody Royal combined avocado with a perfectly poached egg. Everything was beyond delicious, paired with a great variety of coffee options. I honestly loved the whole experience. Special thanks to our lovely waitress who kindly helped us switch tables when we asked since the sun was hitting us right in the face. I’ll definitely be back to try the desserts because they looked exquisite.
