I feel like we needed so much a well-rounded review of this great place, so here we go. P.s. just go there and eat cause you'll never find a better price/quality place to have an all you can eat hotpot experience Now let's dive into details First of all, how much? - generally speaking, the price for one person (2 hours) is 12.999 huf but they have an amazing offer available until 31 August 2026 with only 10.000 (+some small fees) - keep in mind thay they also have some deals if you're not eating during the weekend so you might eat even cheaper What's included? - We were a group of 4 and we received 2 types of soup (chicken soup non-spicy but they also have spicy soup or other combination for an extra fee). I would recommned the non-spicy version because it's already kinda spicy and you can combine with other things (spicy beef for example) - you have A LOT of options. You can eat beef, chicken, seafood, fruits (even pork/beef balls lmfao). Almost everything is raw cause it's hotpot duh - dessert and drinks included. Again, a lot of variety: boba tea/milkshake, wine, beer, water, smoothies and the dessert is crazy You can refill whenever you want, no extra fee and I don't think they gonna charge you if you still have some food on the plate (anyway I don't recommend food waste). Moreover, they served us with some extra fried food (i.e. shrimps, crab). Btw: you can pay separately if you don't wanna split the bill Overall it was an amazing experience and the price is fair. I wouldn't say something was off and definitely it's a must experience, nothing fancy just good vibe, traditional and accesible.
We had never been to a hot pot restaurant before and wanted to try when we saw this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and showed us exactly how it worked. There was so much included in the price for the all-you-can-eat including everything to put in the pot, drinks and even desserts. You definitely get your moneys worth of food! Had such a blast, really recommend this place if you fancy some Asian food.
The quality-price relation is so good. I’d really like to mention the exceptional treatment given to us by Jenny, she is so patience! Unfortunately, they don’t have lactose-free/vegan option desserts and there was no ice for the soft drinks or at least cold soft drinks, just water.
We recently had dinner at Red Lantern Chinese Restaurant and honestly it was one of the best Chinese dining experiences I’ve had in Budapest. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, clean interior, and a great balance between modern style and authentic Chinese hotpot culture. The food quality was excellent. The broths were rich and flavorful, and there was a huge variety of fresh ingredients to choose from including seafood, beef, vegetables, noodles, tofu, and different sauces. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The spice levels were also great and customizable depending on your preference. What stood out the most was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and patient even when the restaurant became busy. They explained the menu well and made sure everything was comfortable throughout the meal. The portions and all-you-can-eat options offer very good value for the price, especially considering the quality and variety of food. It’s a perfect place for dinner with friends or family, and the atmosphere makes the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest who wants authentic Chinese cuisine and hotpot. One of the hidden gems in the city!
Two restaurants next to each other offering hot pots. One is all you can eat, the other by weight. We were trying the by weight section. The service is not extremely attentive as they know with their competitive prices they can get the restaurant full in this very touristic part of Budapest. The quality is above expectations, but you have to remember the staff to fill up the boxes with the fresh ingredients you want to have in your soup bowl.
