If you are looking for a vibe this is a great place. If you aremlooking for quality good, go down the road. I got the biergarten burger with fries. While the overall taste of the burger was good, it was too salty for my taste. The fries though were a little disappointing. Most of them were way to small, made dipping them impossible. The beer was good. So if you want a chill place with ok good its great. If you want quality food and nice dining experience, there are some better places up the road a bit.
me and my friends had a good and relaxing time here, after a long touristy journey! Szonja the waitress served us lovely food and the service was just as we hoped. The prices were fair and the food + drinks were delicious! I recommend coming here if you want to relax and take a breather after a long day in the sun!
Spíler Biergarten has a lively and vibrant atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to relax, enjoy a meal, and soak in the energy of the city. The outdoor seating area is especially enjoyable during good weather, and the setting is great for gathering with friends and family. Unfortunately, the dining experience was let down by the service. We were told that only our assigned waiter could serve our table, so we had to wait quite a long time whenever we needed assistance because he was busy attending to many other tables. To make matters worse, our order was taken incorrectly. We ordered the nachos with beef and what was supposed to be a platter for two, but due to the ordering mistake, we were served only half a chicken instead. The food itself was generally okay, and the nachos with beef were enjoyable. However, the long waits and order mix-up affected the overall experience. The venue has a great atmosphere and plenty of potential, but better service coordination and order accuracy would make a significant difference.
A great bar in the Castle District. Stopped here for a drink on our way back to the hotel after exploring Budapest. Beer very good, lots of choice. Good service and friendly staff. Decent prices too. The Apple Strudel to share is delicious.
We visited this place on last Christmas Eve, 2026. The food we ordered (stelze, goulash, porkrib) were soooooo delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cheerful and staffs are really kind and made our kids happy. The location was also great to visit with Fisherman Bastion. If we visit Budapest, we will definitely visit again. Thanks for the great dinner!
