An absolutely outstanding restaurant—the kind you rarely find. The flavors are unique, and the quality is impeccable and to die for. Because the restaurant uses no dairy products and bakes its own optional gluten-free bread, anyone with allergies is in for a real treat. While the food is truly world-class, what I need to highlight above all is the honest enthusiasm and warmth of the team. The moment we were seated, we felt so welcome, as if we had come home to family and friends. The staff truly love what they do, and it shows. We were enjoying the brunch menu and happened to mention in passing how much we love eggplant dishes. Our waiter went above and beyond, asking the chef to prepare an extra eggplant dish for us that is normally only served in the evening! I cannot praise and recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back soon!"
Best restaurant experience in Budapest We love it. Super friendly staff, amazing food in particular the starters and a great concept (plate sharing). Only come if you like the sharing experience! Several healthy food options and veggies available. The tomato salad was one of the best in my life. The smoking aromas are just amazing of most dishes . Only point to improve: Main courses could be a bit bigger. Love it, the vibe (music) and the concept.
Excellent wood fired middle eastern food, everything was better than the next but the chicken shawarma and the freekeh salad were especially good. Really friendly servers too. Not sure why it wasn’t busier at lunch, maybe it’s a bit expensive for a normal lunch but it’s worth it. The only thing I wish is they would up their wine game with more choices and better wine glasses.
A genuinely unique, one-off experience in Budapest. Middle Eastern–inspired spot with EDM playing, comfortable bar seating, and a vibe that feels both lively and relaxed. We booked last minute and everything flowed smoothly. The staff really stand out — approachable, energetic, and genuinely positive without any forced politeness. You can feel the authenticity. The open grill is at the center of everything, and it shows in the food. Flavors are simple, hearty, and high quality. Nothing overcomplicated — just done right. The Caesar salad is a must-try, served inside a lettuce head with all the ingredients packed in, fresh, fun, and actually very good. Smoke and olives was unreal as well. Mocktails were also interesting and well thought out. Overall, a high-quality but very human experience. Easy 10/10.
Landed here for a dinner without reservation and were given a table outside. The service was polite and courteous and gave good recommendations however the food was not so likeable. The complimentary tea (Cardamom & saffron) served was outstanding. Labneh was good & creamy. The spicy plate was exactly like Indian styled chutneys with different heat level. We enjoyed them with bread & labneh. Everything after this was disappointing. Freekeh: too Smokey & tangy Oyster mushroom with Polenta: Flavour-less Lemon chicken shawarma was the biggest disappointment as it tasted bitter. Communicated this to the server when asked. Not really sure why it’s on the michelin list. Final verdict: Go here for nibbles and skip the main course. Do order bread, labneh & spicy plate.
