RUTIN Budaörs

Rutin in Budaörs is one of those rare places where you feel, from the first minute, that something genuinely new is happening. The young couple who run it have completely changed things up: the husband has already been named Young Chef of the Year by Michelin, which is a very strong starting point, and he really delivers on that promise. His cooking is thoughtful, precise and creative, with dishes that feel modern but never try-hard – just quietly brilliant. What makes Rutin really special, though, is the partnership. His wife brings deep knowledge of wine, fermentation, herbs, spices, homemade condiments and very interesting non-alcoholic concoctions, so the liquid side of the experience is on the same high level as the food. They now offer tasting menus with wine pairing, and it’s impressive what they’ve created together: course after course, glass after glass, everything feels considered and harmonious. With a limited number of guests at each seating, they can truly focus on every table, and you feel that attention in the service and in the pacing of the meal. All in all, one of those great dinners you don’t forget – a small, focused restaurant where a talented young couple work in tandem to give you something personal, delicious and genuinely exciting.
