Harapó Mókus Vendéglő

Interesting inn, we booked for dinner based on the reviews and because I love the squirrel sign. The place is a bit out of the way, so you can either get there by public transport or a taxi, or you can take a nice walk past Margaret Island, cutting across the Pointi. Anyway, as I was saying, it's a truly unique place, with a very friendly owner and staff. Excellent dishes, so ask for advice on which is best for good Hungarian food. I'd love to go back. The appetizers were good; we had a white onion soup, which is the only one I remember, given the name. For the main course, there were two meat dishes (I'm posting photos because I can't even pronounce them). One was definitely pork with potatoes, and the other was a kind of stew with potato dumplings similar to Spratzel.
We found this place by luck as we were starving after a long hike and we picked the first place close by. The food was amazing and the service very thoughtful apart from giving flowers to the ladies due to the international women's day, as soon as a pet owner came in, they immediately brought a small bowl with water for the small dog. There are some small touches that need to be done in the interior and exterior as unless you don't stop to check, you are not really sure if it's open or the type of the restaurant and that's a shame as this is a must eat place!
