Flavors of Budapest was created to provide guests with the opportunity to taste traditional Hungarian food and drinks and learn about Hungarians in a personal setting. This unique 4-hour culinary course is held in the flat of your hosts. (small group) Hungarians have a love for cooking and eating great food. When meals are being prepared, the kitchen is full of life: someone is chopping onions, someone else is preparing the meat or kneading dough. The pots are bubbling, the kitchen is filled with talking and laughter. During your cooking class, you’ll sip delicious wine and the smell of the food will fill the entire flat. This is the atmosphere in which you’ll enjoy learning about and preparing traditional Hungarian recipes. This is also a great opportunity to learn about everyday life, customs, and Hungarian hospitality. At the end of cooking, you’ll sit down to a delicious 3-course meal.
