A real discovery. We were looking for an Italian restaurant near the Anantara hotel, so we popped into this one. To be honest, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent; we ordered a Caprese salad and some pasta (carbonara and with red prawns). Everything was delicious. For dessert, we had a lovely tiramisu and a fantastic lemon sorbet. Highly recommended.
Italian is my favorite cuisine, and this was one of the best Italian meals I've ever had. The staff was extremely nice and willing to go into so much detail about each dish and what was unique about it. We don't drink a lot of wine, but they helped us pair a great selection with our entres. They import many of their ingredients from Italy. The caprese was so simple and yet somehow far better than any I've ever had. I just happened to walk in because I saw it was an Italian restaurant. Didn't expect to be blown away like I was.
When we were there on a weekday, two nice waiters were on duty. I have the impression that they know a lot about Italian food and wines. The waiters were able to help us through the menu. We ended up with scallops for starters, tuna tartar pasta for mains, and dessert - personally the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. The food was fresh seasonal ingredients, and they were good at letting the ingredients shine, with modern twists. This was a lovely evening, and I really want to come back.
The staff, the food the wine selection, the atmosphere! A really amazing culinary experience that I would recommend for everyone. Its also the PERFECT place for any special occasion. A must visit when you're in Budapest!
Lovely Italian restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, and the food is just amazing — everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor. I really liked that they explain what we eat and how it should be enjoyed, it makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place to come back to! 🇮🇹✨
