Description
Day 1: Departure from Budappesta at 06 AM. At about 10.00 oclock the first object is reached, Deva Fortrress. This medieval fortress was built in the 13th century in a volcanic cone. The next visit is to the Corvinilor castle in Hunedoara, considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, being located in the top 10 fairytale destinations in Europe. The castle was built by Iancu de Hunedoara in the 15th century. After the visit and lunch break, head to Sarmisegetusa Regia. Evening accommodation and meal in the Orastie area. Day 2: After breakfast, at about 08 Am departure to Peles Castle. Arrive Around 12 PM. Peles Castle was built at the initiative of the first King of Romania, Carol I, in the 19th century. After the visit and the lunch break, you will head towards the Bran castle, built in the 14th century. The legend of Dracula is linked to this castle. After the visit, you will head to Rasnov, where you will visit the Cave of the Cetatii Valley. Evening accommodation at a guesthouse in the Rasnov area. Day 3: After breakfast, head to Viscri. In this village, King Charles of Great Britain owns a property. After the visit of about half an hour, you will head to Sighisoara. The historical center of the city is included in UNESCO. Vlad Tepes, the ruler who inspired Bram Stoker to create the character Dracula, was born in this city. Visiting the fortress takes about 3 hours. Lunch break, after which you head to Alba Iulia. Spend time after the meal visiting the fortress. The bastion fortification at Alba Iulia is the largest Citadel in Romania, which has been standing for more than 300 years. The fortress is the place where you can go back in time, over two millennia, among the remains of three fortifications, from as many different eras. In other words, each citadel built here incorporated the old one: the Roman Citadel, the Medieval Citadel and the Alba Carolina Citadel. Evening accommodation in the Apuseni Mountains, at a traditional pension, dinner at the pension. Day 4: AFTER breakfast, you will visit one of the many waterfalls in the area, after which you will head to the Bear Cave. Bones over 100,000 years old were discovered in the Ursilor cave. Have lunch, then continue your journey to Budapest, the final destination.Includes
