Description

Step into PIXIM Budapest, an immersive experience center located in the Westend Shopping Centre. This innovative attraction offers a unique audiovisual journey, enveloping you in 360-degree visual and auditory landscapes. Enter a cube-shaped multimedia installation that redefines the traditional cinema experience. Be surrounded on all four walls, the ceiling, and a reflective, vibroacoustic floor by high-resolution projections and spatial soundscapes. Each PIXIM show lasts approximately 20 to 30 minutes, featuring a combination of two or three short animations that complement each other—one lighthearted and the other more abstract. These shows are crafted by a diverse international team of artists, graphic designers, and programmers, ensuring a rich and varied experience for all visitors. PIXIM is situated on the -1 level of the Westend Shopping Centre, near the escalators. It operates daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the last show starting at 8:40 PM. The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users and is easily reachable via public transportation, including metro lines M2 and M3, and trams 4 and 6 at the Nyugati Pályaudvar stop.
