Description
Visit Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe and known to locals as the Hungarian Sea. Visit Balatonfüred, the most important traditional bathing resort, located on the northern shore.
Stroll along the tree-lined avenues and enjoy the ambiance of 18th century villas. Walking along the yachting marina, you will have a chance to enjoy the view of the Tihany Peninsula. Take a 1-hour boat cruise on the lake.
After lunch break (not included), you will have an option to swim for a bit before you proceed to the village of Tihany. You will drive to Tihany Peninsula, a magnificent nature reserve at Lake Balaton. Admire the most amazing view of the lake from Abbey Hill in Tihany village then discover the inner lake and lavender fields. After this, you will return to Budapest where the tour ends in the city center.
