This hotel offers the best experience ever! ✨ Upon arrival, the staff in the parking garage were very helpful with our luggage. We were upgraded to the royal suite at check-in – absolutely amazing! 🤩 This Budapest gem is centrally located in a vibrant area. The hotel restaurant is superb, and the service is sublime. We'll definitely return! 💖

The location is great, just off of the main road but not noisy at all, we were on the third floor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The gym is well equipped for a hotel gym, you can definitely do a good work out here. The spa is wonderful with a proper Finnish sauna, a pool and a jacuzzi. There is even a cold plunge tub, although that is only normal Finnish lake temperature 17 degrees, I would have wanted 5-8 degrees but you can’t have everything!

Overall, we had a really lovely stay at the Queen Hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, very spacious, clean, and offered great value for money. The service was good, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was generally convenient, although some nearby areas felt like they were in the less attractive parts of Budapest. That would probably be the only real negative I’d mention. Considering we stayed around the time of the Champions League final, the value for money was especially impressive. Everything was well managed, and the hotel was very accommodating despite it being such a busy period. For anyone visiting Budapest for the first time, it’s worth noting that everything is quite close by. Ubers were easy to get, and most places were only about 10 to 15 minutes away, which made getting around really simple. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

My experience at Queen's Court Hotel & Residence was, to say the least, disappointing. I found the property smaller, older, more worn-down, and less well-maintained than I would expect from a five-star hotel with such consistently glowing reviews. The hotel itself is surprisingly inconspicuous – easy to miss entirely when walking past. There are only two rooms on each floor, which initially sounded promising from a privacy perspective, but unfortunately the overall experience did not live up to expectations. As for the “junior suite” I stayed in, I felt the term “suite” was used rather generously. The room did not truly offer separate living and sleeping areas, but rather a compact open-plan layout with a small seating area near the entrance and an almost decorative kitchenette seemingly added just to justify the label. It was not really possible for two people to use different parts of the room independently without disturbing one another. From the moment I entered the room, there was a strong, sweet fragrance that remained throughout my stay. I assume this is part of the hotel’s chosen scent profile, but personally I found it unpleasant and somewhat overpowering. The room also lacked proper soundproofing, and I could often hear conversations and noise from outside. The furniture felt dated and somewhat rickety, and the overall level of cleanliness, while not terrible, fell short of what I would expect at this price point and star rating. The bathroom setup was another frustration. The only showering option was a very narrow bathtub, and the hot and cold water controls were unnecessarily confusing, as they operated in opposite directions. Getting the water to a comfortable temperature required awkwardly balancing both taps. I also had an unnecessarily frustrating experience with the in-room safe. The instructions provided by the hotel were outdated and misleading, which resulted in the safe becoming locked using a code I had never set. After contacting reception, I waited nearly an hour without anyone showing up and ultimately had to go down to reception again to remind them. When a staff member finally arrived to open it, I was told that the instructions were incorrect: instead of using the hash (#) button as stated, guests are apparently supposed to use the asterisk (*) button. This could easily have been avoided had the instructions simply been updated. The safe itself was also extremely small. I was likewise surprised by how small both the fitness centre and pool area were in reality compared to how spacious they appeared in the online photos prior to booking. One positive touch was the complimentary drinks voucher provided at check-in, which could be used for coffee, tea, or another non-alcoholic drink between 13:00 and 18:00. While I appreciated the gesture, the voucher felt somewhat limited compared to similar offers I have received at comparable five-star hotels, both in terms of the restricted hours and the relatively modest drink selection. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, particularly given the price point. In my opinion, Budapest offers significantly better five-star options at a similar price point — or even less — such as Kozmo Hotel Suites & Spa or Mystery Hotel.

Beautiful hotel with pleasant service. Lovely, stylish rooms. Great wellness area with large pool, whirlpool, and small sauna. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is available until 11 a.m. Last but not least, it's in a super central location. We'd love to come back!
