Description
Depart from Budapest’s Nyugati Railway Station and enjoy a one-hour panoramic train journey along the Danube River. Upon arrival, take a ferry crossing to Visegrád, with ferry tickets included.
From the ferry port, hike uphill along the Kálvária path through forested trails and panoramic viewpoints. The hike is moderately challenging, with approximately 250 meters of elevation gain and takes 45 to 60 minutes.
At the top, visit the historic Visegrád Castle with included entry tickets. Experience 360-degree views of the Danube Bend from the fortress. After exploring, return to Budapest by hiking back to the ferry, crossing the Danube again, and riding the panoramic train.
