Description
Travel to the Austrian capital on a full-day tour from Budapest with a professional driver. Vienna is just a 2 to 2.5-hour drive by motorway.
When you arrive in Vienna you'll have time to visit the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna's main boulevard, to get an overview of the city and a look at many of its important sights. See the State Opera House, the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parliament, the Burgtheater, the City Hall, and the Votive Church.
You can take a short walk to see the most beautiful parts of the city center. You can visit the Museum Quarter and the Hofburg, which was the winter residence of the Habsburgs. Walk along Kärtner Strasse, Vienna’s main shopping street, and see St. Stephen's Cathedral.
Then you’ll have time for shopping in the elegant pedestrian area. Alternatively, there is the opportunity to visit Schönbrunn Palace or any of the other museums, or to head to the Prater, Vienna’s well-known amusement park.
On the way back to Budapest you’ll stop at Hundertwasser House, which is a journey into the world of creative architecture.
