Travel from Budapest and visit Esztergom to see the country’s largest basilica and the center of Hungary’s Catholic church. Next, reach the former royal residence atop Visegrád Hill, offering views of the Danube Valley.
On the return, stop at the Baroque town of Szentendre to walk its narrow cobblestone streets and browse shops with handicrafts and souvenirs. The tour route and timing can be customized to your interests.
Entrance fees and lunch are not included. Return to Budapest by boat is offered only on Saturdays and Sundays. For tours on Mondays or Thursdays, the return trip is by bus.
