Step into a colorful tufting studio in Budapest and discover the process of creating your own handmade piece from start to finish. Depending on the option you choose, you can make a 30 × 30 cm tufted rug, wall hanging or seat cushion, a 30 × 30 cm tufted mirror, or a 20 × 20 cm framed tufted artwork.
The creative process is similar for each option. You will begin by choosing your colors and planning your own design, then draw it by hand onto the fabric. After a short introduction, you will learn how to use the tufting gun safely and confidently.
With step-by-step guidance, you will bring your design to life with yarn, then continue with the finishing steps, such as cutting, shaving and gluing. Our team will support you throughout the whole process, so you can enjoy the experience even if this is your first time tufting.
No previous experience is needed. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already tried tufting before. All materials, tools and yarns are provided.
Enjoy a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere while working with colors, shapes and your own ideas. During the workshop, coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and small snacks are also provided.
At the end of the experience, you will have created your own handmade tufted piece — a colorful personal artwork made by you in Budapest.
