Description
The workshop takes place in a welcoming studio in Budapest city center, offering an interactive experience focused on Kürtőskalács, one of Hungary’s most beloved sweet treats. You will start with an introduction to the pastry’s history and cultural significance.
After a demonstration, you will roll your own dough, shape it into strips, and wrap it around a wooden spindle to achieve the chimney cake’s distinctive hollow shape. The cake is then brushed with sugar and placed on a rotating grill to caramelize to a golden color.
When ready, choose from toppings such as cinnamon sugar, vanilla, cocoa, or walnut. Enjoy your warm Kürtőskalács on site or take it with you as a souvenir. At the end, you receive a Certificate of Achievement to commemorate your experience.
