Tour Description
This tour covers two main areas:
- ‘Real Budapest’ District: Andrássy Avenue and City Park, featuring the Opera House, Heroes' Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, Széchenyi Baths, the new Museum of Ethnography, and the House of Music
- ‘Eclectic’ District: Jewish Quarter and pedestrian street with the Great Synagogue, mural paintings, ruin bars, Gellért Baths, Váci Street, and the Central Market
Meet your guide either at your accommodation or in front of the Big Wheel on Deák tér Square. The tour can finish at the starting point or elsewhere in the city center as preferred.
Interior visits to landmarks like the Parliament, National Opera, or Synagogue are not included but can be arranged separately, as these sites have their own local guided tours.
Public transport is efficient and connects well to local culture, but cycling or using electric scooters is also possible with an additional charge.
Your guide can recommend restaurants, night cruises on the Danube, concerts, excursions around Budapest, and other special activities.
