Description
The tour starts in the Jewish Quarter, known for its nightlife, and follows a route including Andrássy Avenue and the Music Academy. It passes Heroes' Square and the House of Terror before entering City Park, where Vajdahunyadi Castle is located. You will see Gellért Baths and the National Opera as you return toward downtown.
Other highlights include St. Stephen's Basilica, Liberty Square, the Parliament building, and the Danube waterfront with the Shoes on the Danube memorial (view only). The route continues along the river to the Chain Bridge, crosses to Buda, passes Rudas Bath, then heads to Gellért Bath before returning to Pest via Liberty Bridge.
The return ride features the Central Market Hall, National Museum, and finishes at the Grand Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter. The pace allows for ample photo opportunities and learning about Budapest’s history and culture throughout the tour.
