Experience Danube-Ipoly National Park’s natural features on a half-day caving expedition through Hungary’s longest cave system. This adventure requires no prior caving experience.
While Budapest is famous for its thermal baths, few know the underground heated water created an extensive limestone cave system exceeding 200 kilometers in length. The Pál-völgyi-Mátyás-hegyi cave system extends 32 kilometers and is a multi-level labyrinth beneath Budapest’s residential districts.
Guided by qualified caving professionals from the Hungarian Caving Association, you will climb walls and crawl through narrow passages. Explore the natural cave formations safely under expert supervision.
