Amazing food and super friendly staff. Very homey and nice atmosphere. Hope to see you in Thailand! :)
The food is excellent: I had a beef stew with Galushka and it was divinely cooked (low fire, long long time). It came with some Hungarian pastas whose secret they wouldn’t tell me. Apart from the food, they had a live pianist who was playing classical jazz. The staff is extremely friendly—especially Esther, the owner’s daughter! Anyway, I’ll come back in the few days of my stay, perhaps tomorrow :)
I found this restaurant on Google maps and I’m so glad that I did! From the initial walk down to the restaurant, the furnishings are beautiful and homely. There is a lovely ambiance with appropriate music or live performance. The food was lovely and very authentic Hungarian food. Would definitely recommend
We’ve been to the place during our holiday stay in Nov-25 for my Birthday occasion. We selected it just based on reviews and feedbacks. And we would like to recommend it! It is a cozy place run by a family. Each decoration is a masterpiece that brings things to a puzzle and a great picture. Just sitting, sipping your wine, that greatly suggested by an Owner, listening to a perfectly matched playlist, or a live performance on a piano, makes you feel special and welcomed there. They also do have a kids corner, so to keep your child busy and you can enjoy your lunch in peace. Food is tasty, variety of drinks, very attentive Owners, who cares about their guest. We have been amazed by a service and food. So, next our trip, for sure we will visit that place again. And would strongly recommend to everyone. Greetings from Cyprus!)
Kazamata, meaning a Safe place, is a family run, authentic, Hungarian restaurant. I highly recommend it. The food, atmosphere and services was first class and prices reasonable. Esther was the perfect waiter and host and her mom does the best of cooking. Comfortable piano music in the background. Kids corner. Thank you so much, I will definitely come again for the duck, it was delicious.
