We loved the atmosphere, the cocktails and the food! Also the service was super attentive and kind☺️ we recommend! A bit pricier than your average place but it’s worth it.
My new favorite spot in Budapest The staff were so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor and you can really tell the quality. The playlist was awesome ,I really enjoyed it. The vibe was perfect and everything felt so welcoming. Definitely coming back again and again.
Balagan leans more toward being a lively bar than a traditional restaurant, with a menu built around small plates designed for sharing. It’s a great concept for groups, encouraging a more social and interactive dining experience. The food was good overall, with well-prepared dishes that fit the sharing style nicely, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant, making it a fun place to spend time, especially later in the evening. That said, it is on the expensive side for what you get, and the music can be quite loud—particularly if you’re seated near the DJ. Lowering the volume just a bit would go a long way in making conversation easier and the experience more comfortable. Hence the (3) stars for Atmosphere. Overall, a fun and lively spot with good food and service, best enjoyed if you’re in the mood for a high-energy night out and don’t mind the price point.
Our food and drinks were absolutely amazing and our server was attentive, quick and kind. Recommend the Rouge Botanica, the Pressed Chicken Cordon Blu, the Ravioli and the Baklava, although EVERYTHING was delicious!
We really enjoyed the beautiful place and the great service. The tapas were amazing and we want to come back again. Our vaiter was Milan he took care after us as a friend. Thank so much for your kindness:)
