We booked our stay here and it turned out even better than we hoped. The hotel is located about 4 minute walk from the chain bridge and a further 5 minutes to the Parliament building. The room was impressive and so were the amenities. The staff were very polite, friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and would highly recommend a stay here.
We stayed there for two nights in mid-June, and it was wonderful. The room was extremely nice and very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was plentiful and delicious. The service, while not superb, was above average. And the location was great. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I returned to Budapest.
We had a lovely stay at The Prestige Hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. We loved the special touches, like complimentary water and chocolates. The concierge and staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful to answer any questions we had. The hotel is located very centrally, so easy to walk everywhere- many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops just moments away. The weather was very hot in Budapest during our visit and the room air conditioning was crispy cool the entire stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed each night. I would highly recommend The Prestige to anyone visiting Budapest!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Prestige Hotel in Budapest mid June 2026. When we arrived the hotel reception area was spotless and the staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful at all times throughout our stay. Our room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space for our needs. The continental breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice from cold and cooked food. The dining area was beautifully laid out making the food very appealing and the staff kept the area very clean at all times. We used the hotel sauna early one evening which was nice, again all very clean. The hotel is situated only a 5 minute walk from the chain bridge over the Danube which was really handy as all the boat trips on the Danube depart near this point and the open top hop on / hop off tourist bus also has a stop near the chain bridge. It's also only a 5 minute walk from St Stephens Basilica, the largest church in Budapest which is surrounded by lovely restaurants. Another bonus was that the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from Liberty Square where they were showing the football world cup on 2 giant screens, with cheap beer and wine compared to many of the other bars and restaurants in Budapest. It was a really handy stop off point for a refreshing drink returning to the Prestige hotel from our day trips as the weather was so hot, 30+ degrees throughout our 5 night stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for classy accommodation in a great location near key Budapest amenities.
What a fantastic hotel! It is in a great location just down a street near the river, very close to transportation links. It is a beautiful hotel, stunning rooms and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was excellent, not a huge choice but plenty to choose from, more than enough. The staff are all very friendly and will do anything to help you. All in all a fantastic hotel and will definitely stay there again if we go back to Budapest
