We are just back from a wonderful stay in Hungary for a wedding. We stayed at Hotel Memories Old Town before and after the wedding, which we had to travel out of town for. We booked the 2nd stay as the first had been so good. The staff couldn't be more helpful, Hotel is clean and kept exceptionally well. Rooms are lovely and beds are comfortable. The Hotel is in lovely position to go exploring by foot. If you have travelled by car, the underground garage is only a short walk away, which the hotel recommended we use and that cost us around 15 euros both times. We used the Spa both stays, its only small with a sauna and hot tub, lovely relaxing chairs and also a small gym, all of which is included in your stay if you wish to use. There is also a fantastic rooftop bar with a lovely happy hour which we enjoyed some marvellous Aperol Spritz with a lovely cheese and meat board. Highly recommend...
We stayed in three different hotels during our tour of Central Europe and this one was our favorite by far. The staff goes above and beyond to be personalable and make sure you have a memorable time. The AC worked the best which was appreciated on the 101 degree days. When I saw the breakfast area, I thought the spread would be limited but it was varied and complete and the perfect way to start the day. I did miss having a proper shower but to be fair my struggles were largely due to user error and then friendly staff and AC more than made up for it. Also, check out the jacuzzi. They have a cool section of an old wall as your back drop and a cold water bucket ( a newly discovered personal favorite). Finally, this hotel is centrally located. We were able to walk to the Rudas Baths, the dock for our river cruise and back from the Buda Castle with no issues. The rooftop bar is charming, too.
Beautiful hotel with fantastic friendly staff in a great location. Stayed 4 nights in May. Breakfast was excellent and spa area great (and empty). Only minor negative for me was the shower, looked great and all worked ok but limited shower enclosure meant a wet floor every time. But had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again.
This was one of the best hotels we have been to. First, the service is just exceptional and everyone is so professional and friendly it’s insane. The rooms are great, super clean, the bed is comfortable and the pillows as well. The breakfast is one of the best we had, super high quality. I really recommend this hotel.
Wow! This place is amazing! Everything from the hospitality to the perfection and cleanliness throughout. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is awesome.... If you like other hot drinks from your normal teas & herbal assortments, they serve Latte's, cappuccino's, various coffees (even decaf) drinks at breakfast, just order with the staff and they deliver to your table. It's location is perfect.... We would definitely 100% stay here again. Thank you so much x .
