We were in the summer . Outside and in public places it was very hot . Inside the hotel and especially inside the room the temperature was cold and if you wanted you could make it too cold . The room was compact modern and very convenient. There is an elevator . The reception is with very nice stuff. Breakfast was very good . Perfect location - near the opera house . I loved a lot the hotel .
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I stayed at Casati Hotel for four nights on my first visit to Budapest, and overall I had a very enjoyable stay. I loved Budapest and would happily visit again. The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of many of Budapest’s main attractions, restaurants and bars, yet the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet. My room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well in the hot weather, and it was cleaned to a high standard every day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and they even surprised me with some chocolates for my birthday, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection, but after a couple of mornings I found it quite repetitive and didn’t feel like eating it every day. The main disappointment was the airport transfer I booked directly through the hotel. I confirmed it several times by email and was given a WhatsApp contact, so I expected the driver to be waiting for me with a sign when I arrived. After a long flight I was tired and hungry, but there was nobody there. I had to call the WhatsApp number before the driver eventually arrived. At 17,000 HUF, I didn’t feel the transfer offered good value for money. In hindsight, I could have taken the airport shuttle bus for around 2,500 HUF or a Bolt taxi for considerably less. There was also some confusion at check-out when I was initially told I hadn’t paid for my stay. This was quickly resolved when the receptionist realised I had already paid, but I was then asked to pay the tourist tax. I understand the tax has to be collected, but I think it would make more sense to collect it at check-in rather than at check-out, when guests may have already spent most of their remaining cash. Despite those issues, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Casati Hotel because of its fantastic location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere.
Terrific place to stay in the heart of Budapest. The room is spacious, the service was excellent and the included heavy breakfast sure helped prior to walking trips around the city. The gym and sauna were big plus for nice workout and relaxation that i did not expect. Make sure to check out Tuktuk next door for handcrafted cocktails. Will definitely be back next time im in Budapest
We were welcomed with a complimentary drink upon arrival. Our room was clean and tastefully furnished. What I liked most was the breakfast – everyone can find something that suits their taste. There is construction work taking place next to the hotel, but we did not experience any unpleasant noise because of it.
Cozy, extremely and unique boutique hotel with 25 rooms. 1 block to the Opera house. Easy 20 minute walk to the river. Many options for bars and dining in the area. Very spacious modern room with coffee maker, hair dryer, mini fridge, toiletries, pillow menu, desk and chair, safe. USB ports available at bedside for charging devices. Excellent breakfast choices from buffet or small ala carte menu. Coffee bar open 24 hours near the lobby. Tuktuk bar is beside the hotel. Small gym and sauna on the bottom floor. Ask for a room overlooking the courtyard. There is construction going on next door but not on weekends or evenings.
