A wonderful stay at Four Points by Sheraton Budapest. I booked the room using my Marriott points and got an upgrade. The hotel is not in the very center of district 5 so expect a little bit walk if that’s a thing for you. I actually loved the location. It is in a quieter residential neighborhood bourghood and still very convenient. M3 metro station is about a 7–10 minute walk (700 meters). the area has a beautiful Danube river view. From my balcony, I could see the Magritte park right in front of the hotel. Jogging along the Danube river to the park became my morning routine. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars within walking distance, with friendly local vibe without being in the busiest tourist area. The service was absolutely outstanding🫰🏼 On my arrival day, the front desk associate Esther (sorry maybe misspelled) was one of the best hotel staff I have met in years. She was not only warm and welcoming, but also incredibly thoughtful and funny. She gave me detailed recommendations for nearby dining options, shopping, and places to visit. She let me go up to my room first to refresh, and by the time I came back down, she had written out helpful notes and recommendations IN HAND. I was genuinely impressed by her professionalism, beautiful handwriting, and the effort she put into making my stay very enjoyable. On my departure day, Roland at the front desk was also extremely helpful. He assisted me with directions to the train station and helped me understand the travel pass options. He made my departure much smoother. This is def one of my recent fantastic stay with excellent service, a beautiful and convenient location, and a very welcoming team. I’d hope to come back again!
I had a wonderful stay at Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube during my business trip. The highlight was definitely the beautiful balcony view overlooking the Danube — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. The reception and service staff were consistently warm, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated their flexibility in accommodating my late checkout request due to my evening flight. They kindly extended it beyond the standard hours, which made my departure much more comfortable and stress-free. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Budapest. Highly recommended!
My little hidden gem. As a status member, they were able to upgrade my room and gave me a special bottle for my birthday! It was so lovely of them. The location is safe to walk around and out of the chaos enough yet, easy to get to tourist places. The river view was amazing to wake up to. Free parking was plenty of space. My room was nice and clean. Glass doors to the balcony were great for fresh air. Staff was always ready and accommodating. Highly recommended!
Visited January 2026 Overall, we had a very good experience at this hotel. The property is tastefully and beautifully designed, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere throughout. One notable advantage is the large number of parking spaces available, including electric vehicle charging stations offered at fair and reasonable rates. The hotel’s interior is elegant and well maintained, and the general design leaves a very positive impression. The rooms are very nicely furnished, comfortable, and inviting. The only aspect we liked less was the bathroom, which was equipped for wheelchair accessibility. While this is of course important, it resulted in limited space to place toilet accessories. It would be highly appreciated if such features were communicated in advance, allowing guests to request a standard bathroom if preferred. Aside from this point, the room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. The service was consistently attentive and courteous. The reception staff were always helpful and supportive whenever we had questions. The hotel’s location by the river is another highlight, offering a pleasant atmosphere and a nice view. All in all, it was a positive experience.
I had a repeated excellent stay at Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube today. I even had time to enjoy the fitness area — and having it all to myself was a real bonus. After many years working in hospitality myself, I truly recognize what real hospitality should feel like. Here, you notice it in the small, lovely details that quietly confirm that hospitality is definitely not dead. The rooms are very nice, with a fantastic river view, and the breakfast was top-notch — a great selection with clearly hand-picked yummies. Very friendly staff!!! I’d happily return.
