They have only a few rooms, directly above their own Damas restaurant and cafe. The restaurants play loud music to midnights, which they refuse to turn off after the complaints. So their main business is really their restaurants! There is no other room beyond 1 floor of guest rooms. The customer service responded that they closed doors and windows during evenings to reduce noise. 2 problems with this approach: 1. The hallway door is heavy metal doors. In fire emergency, this is hazardous for customers locked inside. The only exit will be through the windows! 2. The rock and roll songs came from the restaurant under the rooms, not through the hallways. Sorry, your explanation is no taken. Staffs are friendly and nice, beds are comfy.
Stayed at Damas Budapest Suite and honestly really enjoyed it. The suite was clean, cozy, and felt very comfortable. Great location—everything was easy to access. It was nice coming back to a quiet and relaxing space after a full day out. Staff were kind and accommodating. Overall a very pleasant experience, highly recommend!
If we ever return to Budapest, we will definitely be booking the Damas Suites again! We couldn’t fault the location - less than a minutes walk from Vorosmarty Square and Fashion Street - particularly handy for the metro and Christmas Markets! Staff were so helpful and friendly, we were able to store our luggage when we arrived as we had an early flight and they sent us a message to let us know when our room was ready (early). The room felt luxurious and comfortable. Plenty of space for the two of us and finished to a very high quality. The bathroom was stunning and even though we were in the city centre, the room was not noisy. We decided to have dinner in its restaurant on the ground floor and it was absolutely delicious with excellent service. Authentic Middle Eastern food and reasonably priced. Riyad looked after us very well, giving us his recommendations and making us feel very welcome. So glad we found this place.
