We stayed at the Corinthia Budapest for three nights at the end of April 2026, and it exceeded every expectation. We were fortunate to stay in one of the newly renovated suites. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, filled with natural light thanks to its two large windows, and perfectly soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay despite the lively city outside. One of the hotel’s greatest highlights is undoubtedly its outstanding spa. The complimentary wellness area is truly world-class and, especially during off-peak hours, offers such a relaxing and luxurious experience that there is little reason to pay to visit any of Budapest’s famous thermal baths—unless you simply wish to see them as part of the city’s history and culture. Our stay also included access to the Executive Lounge, which was a wonderful privilege. Throughout the day we could enjoy a generous selection of drinks and delicious food in an elegant, quiet atmosphere. It made us feel genuinely pampered. What impressed us the most, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was exceptionally courteous, professional, and genuinely attentive to our every request. Even during particularly busy moments, they remained warm, efficient, and always willing to help with a smile. The Corinthia perfectly combines historic grandeur with modern luxury, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance and refined old-world charm. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return on our next visit to Budapest.
Excellent hotel in a great central location in Budapest. The interior is beautiful with marble floors, flowers and elegant furnishings. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything guests would need on holiday. However what really stood out was the high standard of service and hospitality. All the staff I spoke to, including managers, porters and bar staff, were friendly, helpful and polite. They are clearly trained very well, take pride in their jobs and enjoy them. Well done to the management of the hotel and continue the good work. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time I visit Budapest.
A very grand hotel with modern conveniences. Nicely located with nearby restaurants and sight seeing activities all within walking distance. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful in planning sight seeing activities. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was modern and roomy. The breakfast buffet is delicious and a a very good value; however, most mornings we opted to explore local cafes. The cost was similar, but the atmosphere was much more interesting and European. We had the hotel breakfast on our last day before catching a train out of town for the convenience. We had a late dessert at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed the violinist and bass music very much. Devious desserts. The hotel bar was great for night caps. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. PS...use the bolt app to arrange cab rides. We used a cab outside of the hotel without the app and they charged us double the price for trip.
