Simply amazing food, service and atmosphere. Great attention to detail and the dishes taste even better than they look. You are welcomed with a free drink and a delicious desert after your meal. A special thanks to the manager Amir and his colleagues Samir and Asslay, was so good we went two days in a row. I definitely recommend if you’re in Budapest.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Honestly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. Poorya was our server and was both knowledgeable and attentive. He brought us a salad that he said we just had to try and I’m so glad that he did. It was probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had. With the beets, goat cheese, and nuts - I found myself unable to stop having more bites. From that point forward, I put myself into the capable hands of Poorya completely and was not disappointed. The ravioli was filling and had an amazing and unique flavor. Poorya recommended a great wine to pair with it that accented the flavors perfectly. We also went with his favorite dessert - Malabi. I’ve had a lot of flavors in my life but this one was new and exciting. The restaurant was beautiful and the service impeccable. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you to Poorya for one of our favorite experiences in Budapest! ❤️
From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcomed. Gerda our server was friendly and attentive. Indoor / outdoor seating option was perfect on a beautiful night. But the food was the highlight - the eggplant carpaccio (thank you Gerda!) was the standout. Wow! Don’t miss that dish. We also enjoyed the hummus, lamb shank, green salad, and local rosé wine.
If you’re looking for unique flavors, love Mediterranean cuisine, and enjoy warm, friendly service, Meshuga is a must visit! We were welcomed with complimentary drinks and an appetizer, which was such a nice touch. The staff was genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home. Every single bite was incredible! It was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Don’t let some of the unusual combinations scare you away, they may end up being your favorite part of the meal. 10/10 experience. One of the most memorable meals we’ve had in Budapest!
This restaurant goes above and beyond. The manager greeted us warmly, made sure we were comfortable at our table, and because we sat under a speaker, he would ask if the music was too loud. Jed, our waiter was polite and knowledgeable. Trying to decide between the Sashimi and ravioli, he did recommend the ravioli. To our surprise, he brought out the Sashimi to the table. It was beyond phenomenal! The manager came back after we enjoyed our fabulous meals, my friend chose the salmon, and he explained that their goal is to provide an exceptional dining experience and then go beyond that. Let me tell you, Meshuga did just that! There are not enough stars in this review! I will recommend this restaurant to others I know traveling to Budapest. Thank you!
