The food arrived hot and the service was very quick. I came here expecting to pay the prices listed online, but when I arrived I was told those prices were for the daily lunch specials. The menu is primarily in Hungarian, although some translations are available. The portion sizes are very generous, and the food itself was quite good. It could have used a little more seasoning or flavor, but it was still enjoyable overall. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the meal was served promptly. My main disappointment was the pricing. The prices advertised online did not match what was available when I visited, and in the end I didn’t find it to be any cheaper than other restaurants in the area. Overall, a good meal with very generous portions and fast service, but don’t expect the online prices to reflect what you’ll actually pay.
Omg, the food here is so gooood. We ordered meat goulash with red wine and fried chicken. They are both really good. We really enjoyed having food here! Also, the portion is quite huge for us so we ordered rice for only one menu.
I enjoyed my meal. The portions were generous, and I appreciated the vegetarian goulash with mushrooms. The peas were also a pleasant surprise, simple but delicious.
I got chicken paprikash, goulash and a couple of drinks for around $30 after everything. For Budapest especially, this is pretty much the best price you can find. Everyone was very nice as well, received so much complimentary bread I could hardly eat it all before I was totally satisfied. I especially recommend all fellow tourists, im American myself, to go to this restaurant!
Nothing extraordinary, reasonable service, reasonable food, and average price. I expected something extraordinary from Chatgpt's recommendations! I'm still trying to figure out why the waiter seated us at a table upstairs when there were empty tables downstairs... my husband and I changed tables ourselves.
