Let me get straight to the point. Food: 5 Ambiance: 4 Service: 2 Hygiene: 5 Space between tables: 1 Kudos to the chef. The foie gras was amazing, and the tenderloin was perfectly cooked. The lemonades tasted artificial, though. The restaurant is pretty famous and packed. However, the tables are so close together that I felt like I was eavesdropping on other people's conversations. Worse yet, when the server was settling the bill at the table next to mine, his butt was practically right in my face. The manager-looking guy was the only one smiling all night, while the rest of the staff maintained poker faces. I think the servers enjoyed their own singing more than the job itself. The guy at the front desk was especially unfriendly, as if he had just lost a big chunk of his fortune at a casino and had to come to work to repay his debt. These amazing dishes deserve comparable service; if they had that, this restaurant would easily be a 5-star experience.

Our server Ben was very nice, attentive, and handsome! The food was very delicious 😋 We had the fois gras starter which was very tasty. Our dishes were Chicken Keiv, chicken paprikash, and port tenderloin and they were all very delicious and well put together. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for an elevated taste of Hungarian cuisine.

We loved this restaurant. We had the chicken paprika and the Wiener schnitzel and both were perfectly executed. David was our waiter and he was amazing. Kind and friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Budapest castle district!

Nice busy restaurant with a mix of locals and tourists. The good reviews online are justified, it was a great choice of restaurant. We had the homemade sourdough bread to start which was amazing, best bread I’ve had in a long time. Really nice butter also. I would recommend this. For mains we had Wiener schnitzel and chicken paprikash , a well-known Hungarian dish. Both were absoloutely delicious , cooked to perfection. A nice cucumber salad on the side. Paired with a nice white wine. We were served by Lajos who was excellent and gave great recommendations on both the food and wine. Thank you so much Lajos you are great! Cannot wait to come back again and try more dishes from the menu.

We had a delightful dinner here this evening. The service was very good and properly attentive. We enjoyed the chicken paprikish that was delicious, the chicken fell off the bone. It was paired with spatzel. My partner had the Pike fish that was paired with potatoes. She said it was very good. The cucumber salad with dill and sour cream was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff very courteous and nice. I recommend if your in the area go here.
