We had an excellent stay at the InterContinental Budapest and highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great selection and high quality. Every evening, a piano player performed in the lobby, creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The location is perfect, right on the Danube and within walking distance of many of Budapest’s main attractions. We highly recommend booking a room with a Danube view. We will definitely stay here again!
Our stay at the InterContinental Budapest exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. The highlight was undoubtedly our room with its breathtaking view of the Danube River. Waking up to panoramic views of the Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, and the beautiful river was unforgettable, especially at sunrise and sunset. It truly felt like having one of the best views in Budapest right from our window. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, with everything thoughtfully prepared for a relaxing stay. We also ordered room service, and it was outstanding. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked with crispy fries, while breakfast featured fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, quality coffee, and delicious local honey and preserves. Everything arrived fresh, beautifully presented, and right on time. The hotel’s location is another huge advantage. It’s within walking distance of many of Budapest’s top attractions, restaurants, and the Danube promenade, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. If you’re looking for luxury, exceptional service, incredible food, and one of the most spectacular river views in Budapest, the InterContinental Budapest is an easy five-star choice. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city.
My stay at InterContinental Budapest was absolutely outstanding and one of the best hotel experiences I had in the city. The location is exceptional, right on the banks of the Danube River and within walking distance of many of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks. The views from the hotel are simply spectacular, especially overlooking the river, the Chain Bridge, and the illuminated Buda Castle at night. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and very well maintained, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. What impressed me most was the breathtaking riverfront setting. Waking up with panoramic views of Budapest made the stay even more memorable. The service was professional and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt refined and peaceful. Overall, a fantastic hotel in Budapest elegant, perfectly located, and offering unforgettable views of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
All the staff at Breakfast buffet are so friendly and helpful and very attentive. Check in check out are very smooth and easy. Room is a bit dated but all clean and functional. We had a Donau view room. It's stunning at night time with the lights of Budavári Palota and the bridges and all the river cruise ships passing by. Overall it's a happy stay. Thank you !

The location is unbeatable — right on the Danube with stunning views of Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge. The hotel is elegant, spotless, and very comfortable, with spacious rooms and an excellent atmosphere throughout. A special mention to **Rita**, who was exceptional. She handled our anniversary arrangements with genuine care and professionalism and made sure everything was taken care of. Her attention to detail really stood out. Rita made our stay excellent.
