The hotel has a great location! Lots of restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance. It’s modern and clean, so no complaints at all. Also, thank you very much to Lena for her warmth and hospitality throughout our stay. She truly made our day with her kindness!
Normally I don't write reviews, but I was compelled to make it known what a great experience staying at this hotel was. At my almost week long stay I was mostly met with the lovely Lena at the reception. Lena provided not just with answers to questions, but also warmth, kindness and a welcome environment. Perhaps, most importantly, Lena continuously produced COLD water in an exceptionally hot summer. If you ask me, Lena should be positioned as the employee of the month for the next 12 months 😎👍
Its a nice hotel. Beautiful, clean, friendly. There's something coffee lovers should know. They hold your morning coffee hostage unless you pay 17 euro for the breakfast or buy a capsule for 2.5 euro and use the machine in the lobby. The "coffee" in the room will make you question the definition of coffee. It's instant sugar, dried milk and does not taste like coffee. If you stay here, bring your favorite instant coffee or sleep in long enough to get it in a local café.
I had a wonderful stay in a modern, very clean room with hardwood floors, which was a huge plus for my allergies as I avoid carpets. Room service was excellent, cleaning daily and replenishing the tea, coffee, and complimentary bottled water. I stayed in room 506, which overlooked a beautiful courtyard. Thanks to the perfect soundproofing (no noise from inside or outside) and the effective blackout curtains, I had a great night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was rich and delicious; having high-quality bean-to-cup coffee and fresh orange juice included was a fantastic touch. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance to tourist attractions and the airport shuttle bus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Bohem Art Hotel sets the bar for what hospitality should look like. The location is simply perfect — everything you want to explore in Budapest is right at your doorstep. The rooms are spotlessly maintained with housekeeping done daily, which made a real difference over a longer stay. But honestly, what made this experience truly exceptional was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond at every turn — accommodating an early check-in, a late check-out, and secure luggage storage without a second thought. What really won us over: when we had an overnight bus to catch out of Budapest, the team welcomed us to relax in the lobby for the hours in between rather than leaving us stranded on the street with our bags. That kind of genuine, thoughtful hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the culture of this hotel. We left absolutely delighted. Bohem Art is not just a place to sleep — it’s a place where you genuinely feel looked after. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Will definitely be back if we get the chance to visit Budapest again!
