We stopped here for our last dinner in Budapest, and it couldn’t have been better! George was an amazing server, who gave us great recommendations. The pork tenderloin was awesome, as well as the beef stew, and the chocolate mousse dessert. Yummy Hungarian Lager on tap too! The restaurant is eclectic, artsy, and unique! Fantastic!
Came here on our last night in Budapest and ended our visit on a high. Food was fantastic, highly recommend the duck breast- very juicy and tasted amazing!! Chicken paprikash was way better here than others we tried in the city. Warm and friendly staff, Krisz in particular was great. Good cocktails and atmosphere- we were able to catch a World Cup game. Overall highly recommend and would come here again
I hadn’t been here in years, but nothing has changed—in a good way. The cozy bohemian-style interior is still the same, which gives the place a unique atmosphere. The menu is good, and they have a good selection of drinks. The only downside was that we were seated on the couch, which wasn’t very comfortable for eating. After about two hours, it became quite uncomfortable. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience.
Truly unique restaurant in the heart of Budapest with a quirky, character filled interior that instantly stands out. The atmosphere is vibrant and a bit eclectic, making it not just a great place to eat, but also perfect for cocktails or a casual drink if you’re just looking for a cool place to hang out. My personal favorite is Duck Liver Pâté served with apple, truffle oil and toasted sweet bread. I also recommend Budapest Style Tenderloin. Tender beef paired with rich duck liver, classic lecsó, roasted potatoes, mushrooms and green pea ragout, a perfect mix of traditional flavors with a refined twist. For dessert, Cottage Cheese Dumplings are just perfect. Light millet dumplings with a creamy foam and a slightly tangy raspberry ragout. Service is very friendly and the vibe makes it easy to stay longer than planned. Whether you come for dinner or just drinks, it’s a place that delivers both great food and atmosphere.🍸🍽️
Stopped by for a quick dinner. The place has a cool, 'shabby-chic' pub vibe and was quite crowded. It definitely feels more like a bar than a restaurant, which explains the limited food menu. We ordered the goulash soup, chicken paprikash, nachos, and lemonade. While the chicken was fine, the soup was way too salty for my taste. Overall, the food quality didn't really impress me.
