My friend, her 13yr son, and I was seated with no issues inside without a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night. There was a DJ outside on the covered deck. The waiter started off good but she was not consistent with attentive service. Mind you we are 1 of 2 small group of black people there. Our appetizers were really good; garlic prawns & truffle fries. My problem came when I ordered a martini and it came in a skinny glass with ice. I asked why wasn’t it in a martini glass like the other martinis I seen, the guy said because it wasn’t like the other one. I ordered the rockstar martini which was more expensive. Plus what martini comes with ice?!! We sat right by the bartenders, and I watched them make every other martini in a martini glass. I was really bothered because this wasn’t the first discrimination offense in Budapest. Also, my friend Mojito was not in the same glass as the others. I didn’t feel treated equally in that regard. We had no issues with the food. It was great. There are salmon steak dish, and crispy Pork tenderloin was awesome. Requested the check we asked to pay for our orders separate, the lady declined but another gentleman did it with no issues. Our server didn’t offer any assistance, nor did she return over 10mins. Its ok place, I wouldn’t return. The charge service fee for food and drinks separately fyi.
Really good place! Good food, boho vibes and great view. The service is really quick and friendly. They have hot servers as well🤭
Beautiful views with reasonable prices - the bar has such a wonderful chilled vibe, a brilliant place to spend the afternoon. Great seating right on the waterfront walk way. Service was quick and efficient, no rush and relaxed - thank you to Richie who was so welcoming and helpful :)
As soon as I entered I said wow, this place has great beach vibes with all the palm trees and the view to the danube. The terrace is great, it has shades but the sun and the reflection from the danube lights it up nicely. The service was also great, lots of staff and always on the lookout for the needs of the customers. I didn’t particularly like the food menu, not too many choices, but given that this place is more of a cafe/bar than a restaurant I guess that’s expected. We had the garlic shrimp, which was pretty good, I would rate it 7/10, I had better ones before but that was in Spain where this dish originates. We also had the goat cheese salad which was also pretty good with the cranberry sauce and chickpeas, I would rate it also 7/10. The prices for food are a bit expensive though.
It was perfect to have my birthday dinner here. Cozy vibes, delicious food, delicious cocktails, kind staff. I had a reservation so I didn’t have to wait - recommend. We spent 4 hours here, stayed until closing but could’ve spent more time here.
