We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The spa and wellness facilities were excellent, and the breakfast offered a great selection. Overall, a relaxing experience, and we would be happy to stay here again.
Nice location on Budapest but a 40 minutes by foot from town center. The public transportation is goog an reliable thought. The gym and the pool of the hotel are not very nice. The gym is quite depressing with old equipment and the pool always crowded. The room for 2 persons was quite small but comfy. The linens were by no means new or crisp. The worst part was the NONEXISTENT SOUNDPROOFING. We could hear everything was going on at the corridor and other rooms. When a door was closing the bed was shaking! The staff was polite but when we needed some simple painkillers the couldn't oblige by hotel's policy... the nearest pharmacy was 50 minutes away! Breakfast was nice though!
Exceptional breakfast and friendly staff, but slow on maintenance Dining: The absolute highlight of our stay was the food. The breakfast we booked was extraordinary—very extensive and of high quality. It truly exceeded our expectations. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The housekeeping/room service also did a great job and kept everything tidy. Rooms & Maintenance: The room itself was perfectly fine and met all our basic needs. However, there was one significant drawback: we reported an issue with our bathroom on the first day, but unfortunately, it was never addressed or fixed by the time we checked out. Verdict: A great hotel with fantastic dining, but the response time for room repairs could definitely be improved.
Always nice to return to Ensana Grand Thermal Hotel. This time We took the family room for the 4 of us 2 kids and parents. The room was perfect for our needs. We love the Margaret Island, there are nice activities for the kids. Ths Spa of the hotel is a little over crowded on Easter holiday weekends but still enjoyable. The breakfast is 4 out of 5. The variety could be better. All in all we love this hotel and the closeness to the city. We will most definitely return on our future visits to hungary. Must add a playroom for the kods could be a great addition to families.
A short break at the hotel completely met our expectations. The quiet location, the friendliness of the staff, the good breakfast and the cleanliness are the advantages of this hotel. I would recommend that the saunas have at least occasionally an employee who would remind guests of the rules in the saunas. We will definitely return to the hotel and I hope that next time the relaxation in the sauna will be more pleasant.
