I cannot thank the front desk staff and housekeeping crew enough for how well they treated us during our stay! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish, such great care taken and every detail accounted for. Finally, I don't have enough words to describe how good their concierge staff is! Zoltan and Christian were absolutely phenomenal and they took care for everything that we needed from tours to restaurant reservations. Their recommendations were on point and I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Budapest... location is also super awesome!
Kozmo Hotel Budapest is a beautiful, elegant hotel set in a stunning historic building that has been renovated with great care while preserving its original character. It has a classy atmosphere and feels luxurious without being over the top. The spa area is beautiful and a great place to relax. The only downside for us was that the sauna is textile (with swimwear), which is common in Hungary but not our personal preference. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. There were a couple of issues on arrival: one of the toilets hadn’t been cleaned properly, and drinks we ordered to our room never arrived. However, after we shared our feedback with the manager, the response was exceptional. The management was genuinely grateful for the feedback and clearly appreciated the opportunity to improve. We were invited to enjoy two complimentary massages and a fantastic dinner, which was a very generous and professional way of handling the situation. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of high-quality food. Overall, this is a stylish, high-quality hotel with plenty of character. While there were a few service hiccups, the way the management listened, appreciated our feedback, and resolved the situation showed genuine care for their guests. We would happily stay here again.
Excellent apartment! The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and the perfect size for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. What truly made our experience outstanding was the manager. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful with everything—from assisting with our luggage and arranging parking to recommending sightseeing spots, providing information about the city, suggesting excellent restaurants, and even helping with reservations. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest, and we definitely plan to come back in the future.
The front desk staff is hands-down the hotel’s biggest strength—almost everyone we crossed paths with was friendly and courteous, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We also loved the location: tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a short 10-15 minute stroll to charming cafes, restaurants, and attractions. Our room was spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds, and in-room dining was a real treat. One small downside was that the room wasn’t quite as clean as we’d hoped when we first arrived, though once we mentioned it, housekeeping took care of it thoroughly. There was also one incident that left us feeling a little unsettled. Our suite came with a lovely private balcony complete with chairs and loungers, separated from the neighboring one by a row of bushes for privacy. One relaxing afternoon out there, we noticed a cleaning staff member on the other side peeking through the bushes at us. It caught us completely off guard and felt pretty uncomfortable. Thinking she might be trying to get our attention, I gave a friendly “Hi,” but she quickly vanished. Still not quite sure what that was all about.
Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an excellent three-night stay at Kozmo Hotel Suites & Spa. The hotel is located in a quiet area, yet all major sights are easily reachable by public transport. The building is stunning, the rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, and the overall atmosphere is calm and elegant. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the spa area, which was very clean and relaxing. The Bistro restaurant is a nice option for a quiet dinner, with good food although the menu is limited. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Budapest.
