The place is stunning, staff are friendly and very welcoming, they definitely know what to do. Cocktails is definitely their thing! We had Norbert to guide us through the menu and honestly it was an experience. United by music and taste, its rare to find spots like these!
This place is an absolute must if you come to Budapest. We enjoyed their sumptuous breakfast buffet, so much choice both sweet and savoury. The decor is so stunning, including a portrait of Snoop Dog. You can sit inside their air conditioned restaurant or their shady private courtyard. There’s also a Secret Museum to visit inside.
My friends and I visited this bar over our one week trip in budapest, and I can confidently say that there was not a single other bar that compared. The atmosphere was lively but not so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation, and every drink was carefully crafted. The bartender who crafted many drinks on the menu, such as the espresso martini, made the experience so wonderful we came back again later in the week. He made an effort to make sure that all of my friends and I enjoyed our drinks, and even personalized the drinks after listening to what we typically enjoy. As a group of non-european tourists, we felt welcomed and comfortable and would have come back a third time if we were visiting longer.
We went to Mitico every day during our entire stay in Budapest. We loved everything. The atmosphere, the food, the staff—everything was top-notch. The food is quite varied. They have breakfast dishes, as well as some main course options. They also serve delicious pastries. The price is excellent for this level of service and quality of food. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were with children, and when they saw that my children were eating muesli without milk, they offered to heat up the milk and serve it to them with foam. The children were very happy, and their parents too:) We will come back again.
Great atmosphere and nice location. Unfortunately, we came here for NYE and this location really suffered from being overwhelmed. Service was very slow (at times waiting almost an hour for drinks) and the drinks were average at best. For a location with such a high rating I would expect the drinks to be much nicer. The music and live band were great, but cocktails were forgettable.
