If you want to go to a real bar in Budapest this is a definite option. Highly proficient bartenders, superb service and impressive intimate ambience make this little ‘hole-in-the-wall’ (almost literally) a great stop for cocktail and bar aficionados. Didn’t have any food so I can’t rate that, but as straight up bar this joint can stand with any bar, anywhere. It doesn’t lead with flash or trendy exhibition but simply with superb cocktails, exquisite service and wonderful ambiance. If you want to impress that discerning date or business connection with your expertise at picking a special spot you won’t be disappointed here! As a straight forward classy bar this place rates with any joint anywhere. Highly recommended.
The bar had a fantastic atmosphere. It’s quite small and was completely packed, which made the place feel even more lively - although it did get a bit warm inside. The bartenders and the rest of the staff took great care of us throughout our visit, and we never needed anything. We also loved the original concept of naming the cocktails after buildings. The only thing we missed was a short description of each drink’s flavor profile (for example, whether it’s sweet, sour, or spirit-forward), which would have made choosing a bit easier. The cocktails were excellent, and we would definitely recommend this bar.
Amazing bartenders, had 3 drinks and an excellent time here. Wasn't too busy so we sat at the bar and were not disappointed. Attila had some drink suggestions and taylored them to our taste. Highly recommend, especially on a quieter week night.
Me and my husband truly enjoyed this spot. I must say, I almost walked past it,because the door going into it was sketchy to me,but I am sooo glad I went in. The atmosphere is quiet and nice, staff is super friendly. We tried couple of their drinks and all of them were good. We went back the 2nd day and my husbad tried their old fashion since hes a big fan of those and he loved it. If you're looking for a great relaxing place to have a drink and feel comfortable, this is the spot for you.
Really nice place. We got seated by the bar and had a good chat with the bartender who was very friendly and had some great recommendations based on our taste preferences. He left the bar just as we were leaving and I regret not asking his name or saying goodbye for the review. Nice chap though. Would recommend.
