Booked a massage for my wife whilst staying in the hotel. She said it was fantastic and staff were great
Spa treatment, staff and sauna area were all lovely. However the spa allows use of mobile phones in the relaxation area. Great if you are the type of person who wants to watch YouTube videos on speaker or send voice notes and your notifications ding every 10 seconds. Not a pleasant experience if you want to read and escape the digital world. I asked one fellow spa user to kindly use headphones and he did apologise and switch off his volume. But when several other guests had messages dinging I realised I was the outlier and left, explaining this to the staff. For future spa visits I'll be asking about digital device policies and will be avoiding places that allow the peace to be shattered by videos and notifications.
