Excellent experience. There are a multitude of indoor pools to explore with a variety of temperatures. There are hot (40°C) and cold plunges as well as a salt inhalation chamber and multiple saunas. You don't need to book the packages to enjoy this place, but I'd recommend bringing your own food and drink as this was reasonably expensive. (2000Ft to an ice-cream). The outdoor pools are the main attraction. There is a 38°C crescent pool at one end which is amazing. There is a large swimming pool in the middle (this was closed when I attended, but it was still worth it!) And there is an 'Adventure Pool' at the other end. This is heated to around 32/34°C depending on the season and has a whirlpool feature and a jacuzzi on the centre. The staff were lovely to us - not sure what the rest of these reviews are saying, but we had our QR codes ready and were scanned straight in to enjoy the facilities. I would really recommend this place, the architecture around is stunning and people were really well behaved when I went. Photos are my own with as many people edited out as I could.
The variety of pools is impressive, with different temperatures and features that cater to both relaxation and fun. I especially enjoyed the outdoor pools, where you can unwind while surrounded by lush greenery—it's a perfect escape from the busy city. The saunas and wellness areas are also excellent, offering a wide range of options for rejuvenation. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Everything is well-organized, from entry to changing areas, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, the thermal baths in Bucharest are a fantastic destination for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a bit of luxury. I would highly recommend visiting—it's truly a highlight of the city!
A truly unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing, with people of all ages enjoying the warm thermal waters. The outdoor pool is especially impressive—spacious, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by stunning historic architecture that adds a unique charm you won’t find anywhere else. The water temperature is perfect for unwinding, and despite the large number of visitors, the place doesn’t feel overcrowded thanks to its size. Sitting in the pool while admiring the grand yellow building and domed roofs creates a perfect blend of relaxation and cultural immersion. Facilities appear well-organized, and there’s plenty of space around the pool to rest, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the ambiance. Whether you’re looking to relax, socialize, or experience something authentically local, this spot delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city—definitely a highlight worth experiencing!
Booked through GYG 🎟️ and trust me—book your own changing booth 🚪🔐✨. It has its own lock, keeps your stuff safe until you leave 🧥👜, and saves you from locker stress 😌. Hair dryers are lined up along the halls 💨💁🏻♀️and the staff were friendly and helpful 😊👍🏻. The whole place gives strong old-history spa vibes 🏛️♨️—grand, yellow, and very Budapest-core 💛🇭🇺. During our visit, the middle pool was under construction 🚧😕, but there was still plenty to enjoy. Our favorite spot by far was the outdoor adventure pool 🌊🔥—fun, bubbly, and impossible to leave 😍🙌. The indoor thermal baths were warm ♨️ but a bit sketchy for us 😬🫣—slippery floors 🚿⚠️ and slightly dirty vibes 🫠, so we dipped out fast and stayed outside instead 🌤️😎. Soaking outdoors ended up being the best way to celebrate my birthday 🎂🥂✨—relaxing, fun, and unforgettable 💦💖. Just choose your pools wisely 😉🎉
Very easy to get to, when you take metro you basically get out at the spa. Clean, fun, saunas are really hot, well kept and lovely. Customer service was amazing. The private cabins are small so perfect for just 1 person. The outdoor pools are heated perfectly one being 38°, the other 34° (I think) and the lane swimming 29°. The architecture is amazing. I had a great time overall. Easily spend 2-3hours just lounging. Loads of indoor pools too
