A short cruise of a few hours on the Danube River in Budapest. Everything was excellent—from the warm hospitality and complimentary wine to the live music and delicious food. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and every moment was worth the price of the ticket. Highly recommended!
This is a great place for drinks and dinner with incredible views of the river and the castle. Well recommended. We did drinks on the Terrace upstairs first and then had a fantastic dinner downstairs. The food was very good and the staff were very attentive.
Our visit to BOATanic restaurant was a good experience in many ways. The open upper terrace offers simply spectacular views of the Buda Castle and we were lucky to be seated right next to the railing, which made the afternoon even more special. The atmosphere on board is relaxed yet stylish, with a panoramic setting. The goulash soup was delicious and full of meat. I tried the Hungarian cottage cheese dumpling (túrógombóc) for dessert, it wasn’t very sweet, but I still finished every bite. The cocktails felt somewhat pricey, but they were well made and generous with the alcohol, which we appreciated. The service was generally kind and helpful, although there were moments where it could have been a little more attentive. Overall, the view alone is worth the visit, and the food and cocktails round out a very enjoyable experience. We left satisfied, happy and I would recommend BOATanic for anyone.
