Meet your guide and start your tour in the city of Kodaly Zoltan, the great composer of the 20th century and the founder of the ever most successful teaching method for music in the world. His method was established 70 years ago. Since then passionate music teachers all over the world work on improving it to current days and adopting it to their country. Follow his tracks with your guide in Budapest, passing by the most important music halls recalling the stories and legends of other famous composers and singers. Opera House (outside), Academy of Music (outside), Memorial Museum of Kodaly exhibition- except for Tue, House of Hungarian Music (only the bilding) You can return later to them. On the way we pass and commemorate some iconic sites of the Hungarian culture, and history and have a little walk on Heroes' Square. Next, head to an outdoor dance session in the evening. Just imagine, music is played at specific times in the most beautiful spots of the city, and people from 16 to 86 years old experienced dancers or beginners dance waltz and rumba and other popular world dances on the marble pavement. Anyone can join, no need to know how to dance to enjoy it. Maybe you just listen to the nostalgic music and watch the dancers. They are forming a subculture community in Budapest with growing number of members from local oldies to foreign students. Instead of ballroom dancing you can come with your guide to a rock and roll party where different bands play 60's music and people dance swing, some wear traditional costumes, and you are flown back to the golden dancing ages of the cold war- behind the Iron Curtain. It was a period when all the youth learnt dancing, they put on suits for the evening. See the legendary Várkert Bazár. A whole generation of Budapest youth was born from the loves started there.
